4.10.04 Well, sometimes you have to interrupt your beauty sleep and workout for more important things. I just heard about a terrible emergency with a lot of cats and kitten involved - all of them suffering a desperate life. They are not neutered and so they multiply themselves continously - but the babies either die or get killed :-(
We need some loving new homes to safe a least some of them - more info soon !

7.10.04 Hey - I have great news !
Melodie will move to her new family today - she will move in with Alois and will have friends there named "Zausel and Lämmchen" - she is going back north - so to say back to her roots.  Zausel and Lämmchen are no cats - they are chinchillas and look like huge mice. But I told Melodie to leave them alone, because they are cute. I can´t wait to see some pictures from Melodie and her new friends - I guess Alois will send some, as soon as she has settled down a bit. I am excited to hear, how this quartett is doing - I guess, you too ?

Lincoln had a foto session as well. He changed from a problem child to a real handsome guy. He is really special ! It is hard to believe - but Hortensia really changed him completly. The two are very much focused on each other and soon Licoln has to move to a new home, before he gets even more focused on her.

Look at Lincoln - he really improved so much. His head is not shaking anymore - only sometimes he is trembling a bit, but that only happens when he meets strange people. He doesn´t like to be touched at his neck, but he loves if you cuddle his cheeks. And he even has his very own, special trick - he tweets! It might sound a bit unusual, but that is really, what he is doing - he does not meow, he does not do the usual Maine Coon chirp - he tweets with Hortensia. And only with her ! If he sees her, the purses his lips, his whiskers are trembling and then he tweets like a bird ! Acutally like a lovebird !
Ingrid has never seen anything like this before - they have their very own way to communicate with each other - they tweet together! He is always having an eye on her, when they are together.
 

Sunday Lincoln will be visited by his new parents, who want to adopt him. There are plenty of details, which need to be talked about. Lincoln is a very sensitive cat and the chemistry between cat and people has to balanced.

And then I have my very own latest "Buffy-news" - my weight today is 3000g and soon new pictures will be taken by the photographer, so everyone can see then how much I have grown already - I am a big girl now !

13.10.04 Dear friends - we have a new emergency : FILOU

He is a beautiful, big, loving and sweet Maine Coon-mixed boy, he is 7 1/2 years old, weights 9-10 kg, has beautiful long white fur and yellow-greenish eyes. Filou needs a new home where he could stay for the rest of his life, after his owner has died.

Since he has lived the past 7 years alone with his owner, we are looking for a home with a male attachment person and either females cats or no other cats. He gives a rather dominant impression (not only due to his size) and he really has pretty much his own head - that is why we would prefer a home with no other male cats. We also think he is not really suited for a family with kids. He loves any kind of balcony, terrace or garden. Notwithstanding his white color, he is in perfect health condition and is not deaf. #330099 Hi - a special "Hello" to my tom cats out there :-)

Finally I can send some new pics of mine and show off a little :-)

I have been quite busy recently and spent a lot of time at the computer - but it paid off. We have found a new home for Licoln - yesterday they were on a big shopping tour for him - cat tree, litter box, a lovely cat bed for daydreams and so on...... He is completly crazy and can´t wait to move - in the meantime he plays like a maniac with Hortensia. Ingrid has to take care of the travel and since it is a longer journey there are some thing, which need to be organized....

  Melody cuddles with Alois and both seem quite happy and satisfied.

Filou found a new family yesterday - so finally i have some time to tell you about me.

Hey guys - I weigh 3300 g now and everybody keeps telling me, what a pretty young Maine Coon girl I am. No one would have believed that some weeks ago. Look at my body length and how much coat I already got. I am fascinated to be a "real" Maine Coon finally ! The change of food was no problem at all - and my vet thinks, the fungus will dissappear as soon as my immune systems is working properly again. But this will take one or two more  months. Well, I am not finished with growing anyway - I just hope the computer can still load such BIG pics of me :-))

Soon I can celebrate my birthday - I will soon turn 6 months old ! And I really want to thank all of you from the bottom of my heart ! Your positve energy and your thoughts had helped me a lot during my recover.

So, now I will take a nap, it is weekend anyway.
