I was born sometime in the middle of april. My owner thought I was a good deal. He got me from a backyard breeder for only 275 € when I was just 8 weeks old. Ear mites, fleas and fungus were included in the package. On top of that I had serious diarreah. Very soon my owner had the feeling, that something was wrong with me. Let us name him "Tom" - Tom soon realized, that I was in real miserable condition, so he brought me to several veterinarians. They all tried their best, but had to give up on me - they just couldn´t see any chance for my survival. That is why they wanted to put me to sleep. Finally Tom contacted some breeders for help. He had spent a lot of money for vet bills in the meantime - but to make a long story short - I am isolated in a veterinarian hospital right now. The vets and their team try their best to save my life. Pain, hunger, thirst and anxiety have been my life so far - I didn´t have a chance to see a different side of life. But I want to live and everybody is fighting for my life. Tom has paid a fortune for this lesson, but he has learned it well.
No kitten is a "good deal" - we are no special offers, we are not on sale - and everybody, who buys a kitten from a backyard breeder supports this cruelty and the ongoing suffering of the cats there.
Please help us to stop such unethical breeders and kitten producers - we
don´t want to see such poor creatures like "Buffy" being produced on and
on.
I hope that publishing my story helps to prevent such cruelty and if only one
kitten can be safed from such a destiny, my suffering was worth it.
