Buffy´s plea to all breeders:

Please keep in mind, that we are not only beautiful and precious cats as long as we are used for breeding. We are living creatures and we have a right to be treated with respect through all of our life and to be kept in conditions, we are appropriate to my species.

We are not consumer´s goods or interesting pedigrees or applicants for the next cup - we are sensitive animals, which deserve to be loved - we could not choose the place we are living in. Please take care of us and our offspring.

Please put our welfare on top of everything else - money or breeding sucess are secundary.

Please do not let your kittens leave your house under the age of at least 12 weeks (it would be better to keep them up to the age of 14 weeks)
Please wait at least 7-10 days after a vaccination, before you let your kittens go to their new home. Please let only kittens go, which are in top health conditionl.
Please do not let your kittens go without a complete set of vaccinations and blood tests.
If possible, please bring your kittens to their new family.
Inform the kitten buyers accurate about the personality and needs of the kittens - if you are in doubt, please do not sell a kitten.
Inform the kitten buyers about neutering and let them sign an agreement in the sales contract, that the cat will be neutered and ask for written proof of the veterinarian.
If problems arise in the new home, please do not hesitate to take kittens and cats back !
Please do not cage any cats - and do not lock them up in tiny rooms or outside runs all by themselves.
Allow queens to raise their litter in a quiet room and do not put them in cage. Queens do not like to use the litterbox close to the kittens) Keeping a mother and their kittens in a cage is not the natural way Queens raise their litters.
Please keep the number of litters in a reasonable size - and do not breed and possess more cats, than you will have time to take care of..(each cat and kitten needs its very special time)
Keep only as many cats as you can take care of - financially and also in terms of room. Please keep in mind, that every cat can get sick and often vet bills get enormous - please spare us and you as well these difficulties.
Please treat us with respect and make sure, that we have enough climbing devices and enough room to move. We also have the need of social contacts.
Please bring is to a veterinarian, when we are sick. We deserve good medical care.
If you have to place a former breeding cat, please neuter the cat, before you let it go to a new home. Also please try to find a home, where this cat can stay for the rest of its life.

Whenever you let one of your adult cats go to a new place without having neutered it before you take the risk, that your cat will be abused by a backyard breeder - do not support backyard breeders ! Also it gives the impression, that money is more important then a loving home for the cat.
