2.08.04 I am now in the clinic since 14 days and
my weight is 840 g by now. Notwithstanding the sneezing I have a good appetite.
I love to climb at the doctors coats to convince them to give me more food and
to play with me. But they say, that my stomach is too small to deal with larger
portions - but I have the feeling my stomach is HUGE and EMPTY....but playing
let me forget about my hunger..
I have lost almost all of my coat - Ingrid Vitali told me, I almost look like a
Sphynx. A sphynx has to be a pretty cat, because Ingrid looked at me with a
loving expression. I hope we can treat the fungus, when I have recovered,
because then I will become a real Coonie-girl !

I have listened what they are talking about me and I have heard them saying,
that maybe I will be allowed to go home soon. They are looking for a vet
in germany, someone, who will take good care of me. Erika and Andrea, my vets,
think I have to have more
activity for my muscles. To sit in my cage at the vet is not a long-term
solution. I can only agree ! I am looking forward so much !
I hope I did not misunderstood them, because it sounded so wonderful. When they
put me on the scale I try to make myself as heavy as possible, so they are all
happy, when I have gained more weight !

Ingrid is not convinced completely - she is afraid, I might fall back in a
critical situation. She wants me to have the optimal start in my new future. I
can understand that and I really try hard to get rid of my sneezing and to put
on more weight.

I cannot believe it but today it is true -
I can go home !
At 9 pm everyone started to get busy - Tom and Julia, Bianca and her husband,
Ingrid and the vets - they all started to pack my stuff - my medicine, my beds,
food - you won´t believe how many things a small kitten like me has ! Somehow I
don´t understand it, because I had nothing when I came, besides my pain and my
illness. I had been a sick "good-deal" baby once - but now I am a little kitten
which is lovingly awaited at home - what a change ! And I really prefer to be
the lovingly awaited kitten. :-)

Finally Tom holds me in his arms ! I am so happy, I play and purr and I am so excited. Everybody say I have turned into a beautiful little girl and I am heavy ! - I weigh now 960 g. I am sitting in my cat-bed and feel like a princess on her throne. I am so happy, that I am chewing Julia´s finger. Everybody is almost crying because of happiness, me included - I have made it and now we are going home - to start my muscles training and my new happy life !

I feel better day by day. I play like a maniac - Tom had taken a short movie,
where I am chasing a teaser like crazy - but it is so much fun ! Also my muscles
develope well and who knows, maybe I will turn into a Schwarzenegger Maine Coon
? I am also running the stairs several times a day - that really improves my
condition and Tom does not need to carry me around anymore - because I weigh now
1300 g - what do you say now ?
Ingrid Vitali thinks, we cannot put the video on the HP, which is too bad - but everything freezes on the page -but not because of my weight, but because of the movie....
Tom says I will be on the internet soon - then I will be able to read all the
messages, you are sending me. I think I will get some toys (it should be a secret,
but I have listened to Ingrids talks..)
Julia and Tom told me, that I should share my toys with Lincoln, who is sitting
in the shelter station - Lincoln is a poor cat with a big problem. Whenever
he is nervous, his head is shaking. That is the reason, why no onw wanted him
and he should have been put to sleep. I happily share all my toys with him -
and guess why ?
I am Buffy - but I am not a poor little kitten anymore - well, I don´t have
silky coat yet and I still fight with my fungus but I do have a loving home,
with people who love me - I have a fitness program and many people, who care for
me - I AM LOVED -
and this is making me the happiest and wealthiest cat on earth.

I got a lovely poem today, which made me sad - it came from the german lady, who
helped me to get into contact with Ingrid. She and Ingrid Vitali are the reason,
why I am still alive on this world, which has become so much better for me !

today is a big day ! I got a computer and I can send
emails now. I have some new friends, who fancy me - and I do have a favourite,
but I don´t tell you, who it is :-))
I am sitting with Tom at the computer and I have my first own big mouse now - it
is so much more exicting than the small toy mouses, but Tom does not like the
idea of leaving the mouse to me - so I just had to bite his finger. Today he is
very proud on me, because my weight now is 1400g !
An important message for my feline fanciers - my coat is growing back ! it looks like a summer meadow after a rain shower - slowly my hair is coming back ! I am so happy, because now I finally become a Maine Coon. Tom is fascinated - he just thinks it is beautiful ! I am already looking forward sending you me latest pictures.

I got a big surprise in the weekend - the woman, where my daddy lives, has
contacted us. My daddy thinks I look just like him !
That makes me proud - also this woman knows exactly my birthday.
I was born on april 26th, 2004 - although I am a small kitten, I was born under the sign of taurus. The next time I will show you a picture of my dad, if the lady, who owns him agrees with that. He is neutered now and lives a happy life - just like me.
Now I have to go - I have to play with Tom.

Today we had our foto-session - but see yourself....
AND - today I am exactly 4 months old. Of course I was very excited !
First of all I had a good portion of food - now I started already to eat some
dry food - I am still on a diet - but it tastes great. Then I stepped on the
scale and - 1600 g - is my weight now ! Look at me - do I look like a
Maine Coon, or what ?

I have gotten a grandma in the meantime - the nice lady, whére my daddy is
living now has sent a picture of him. Now you can see yourself, how much I look
like my daddy. His name is Washington. We have the same color and we both had
great luck in life - even if it didn´´t look like that at all in the beginning.

Thursday was my birthday - Tom and Julia couldn´t believe their eyes. the
mailman brought a huge package from Zoo Plus. Plenty of nice people there made
donations and collected toys and send me those and plenty of food - just look at
the picture below !
I already took a closer look - but I have to wait until my fungus is gone,
before I get all my toys - otherwise it would be sad, if all the toys would be
contaminated with the fungus.I can´t wait to chase my new balls and chew my cat
nip toys. But I can start with my food already, because I want to grow larger
and put on more weight and the food is just right for this. So I can increase my
portions everyday and very soon I will send you new picture of the "huge
Buffy-baby".
I really want to send a loving Miau to the ZooPlus Forum and especially to
Sabine, who had all the work. This girls are so nice - they had also send a
package to Lincoln and the other homeless cats in Switzerland and it really is
true - Shared happiness is twice as much happiness.
For the next time I have another surprise - I got a very special present. I
already have a title although I have never been to a cat show. Ingrid keeps
telling me, I should not get a big head :-)) But I promise, I won´t - I am just
4 months old and my life has just started.

The first thing I did today was - I jumped on the scale and I am proud to
announce, that my weight is now 1900 g ! and now
I am ready to start my fight against mites and fungus - because I am strong !
